New Workshop Alert
Join us on Nov 29th at 6:30 pm for this Holiday Grief Activity where we will make a special remembering ornament in honor of someone (person or pet) that we are missing this holiday season.
We will take some time to enjoy hot chocolate and snacks and learn healthy ways to cope with our grief over the holidays. Kids will be encouraged to share stories (only if willing) about who they are missing as a way to build connections and heal through the sharing of our memories and stories. This is one of many ways you can acknowledge grief and navigate difficult feelings during the holiday with kids.
This ornament is something that can be treasured year-round and does not have to be limited to hanging on a tree. This activity is open to kids of all faiths and backgrounds.
This group will be run by a Registered Psychotherapist. Those with extended benefits that cover psychotherapy should be covered.
